Are you turned off from Christ because of Christians?

Not really. I know enough about Christianity to know its worst ambadors are not representative of the whole faith. The problem is these people also tend to be the loudest. If I had never heard of Christianity before and my first encounter was with a literalist who insisted I would face eternal torment unless I believed every word he said, I'd be tempted to clify the whole religion along with scientology and those people who hang around airports in orange robes. Thankfully, I know that's not what mainstream Christianity is about.
