How can I set my TV input to HDMI?

How do I access my HDMI input on my SONY TRINITRON KV-30HS420 - 30" WEGA DIRECT VIEW TV? I have my HP dv7t laptop plugged into it directly though HDMI and the laptop can recognize its plugged into a Sony TV. The TV has 7 Inputs but when I press the TV/Video on it only scrolls through GAME DVD and HD when there are obviously more. There is literally nothing in the menus that deals with this and I have read the instructions. I have searched forums and everything and have not come across any answers. If you could help me I would be greatly appreciative, thanks.
