How does ebay work?

You have something to sell. Set up an EBAY account. Place your items on the site for sale (Buy It Now or Auction). People buy the items using the Buy It Now option for a set prioce or either they start bidding on the items. After auction ends, you email the winner of the auction, telling how you accept payment and total cost, get their address. They mail (or Paypal) you the money, you ship the items to the person. Easy as 1,2,3.
