Homeinstead senor care question?

I put in an application friday there and i am really needing and wanting this job. I am 18 years old, about to graduate highschool and have never had a job. Butone of my teachers wrote me a letter of recomendation. The lady told me she would review all applications and call me sometime this week. what are my chances of being hired? Also, if i am hired how do they pick who i care for? And do i get to choose if i would rather have a man or a women?
