Writers: Have you always wanted to become a writer, and why?

Although i'm only a teenager, i still love to write. Although this doesn't mean i would like to be a writer. I express my feelings when i write and sing songs, its just the way i do it, but if i were to say i wanted to be a writer, you have some big responsibilities and some people aren't ready to commit to them. Writing takes skill and some people have skills for all different things, but whom who's belongs to writing, make that decision for themselves. (And yes i am a teenager, not an adult pretending to be one!)
