Lyme Disease/Chronic lyme Disease have you had/still it?

When I was 13 i was bit by a deer tick got the most intense bulls eye rash on the back of my leg, along with my whole body itching like i had hives. I went into the doctors and after the shocked faces at the intensity of the rash and what they called and allergic reaction to the bite, they called it lyme disease or the reaction to a bite with LD in it or something, They put me on lots of meds and said after taking them i would be fine sense it was early enough i guess. But now 8 years latter im having a lot of problems with my joints and have been told many times i have bercides but then nothing is done because the intensity of the bercides is minimal but i disagree. After there lil treatments that are supposed to salve my problem nothing changes and over time everything is just getting worse (in my hips) they pinch up/lock up are swollen or swore most of the time and because of the swolleness it causes tension on my hipflexers which would be the reason i have pulled them twice and one lead to a hip fracture. I want to know if you have had LD or still have LD and if so does this sound familiar?

I've looked at the responses to this question a bit, but i don't think they gave a very full response. I know we wear clothes for protection against sun burns and cold (ect) but sometimes there are points when your air conditioning broke, or it's unbearably humid, but you can't take off your clothes. My brother and me were having an argument once With my sister. We said that cold was better, because there are only so many things you can take off. That's when i thought of this. Hi, I've recently been told my BP is quite high (I was actually admitted to hospital after my doctor took it?

and now I'm on 4 different tablets to try and control it and its working - to a point. I still get ringing in my ears which gets better and worse but never goes away. I still feel quite fatigued alot of the time but I recently had a major operation to remove a tumour so that's not helped this matter. My BP, like some of the other posters I have read here today, my BP is higher at night and sometimes it disturbs my sleep. If my BP is too high then my bladder goes into overdrive to get rid of excess water to try and get my BP down and of course being tired just makes everything more stressful which pushes up the BP so it's a vicious circle. My question is this - does it matter when I take my medication? I take 3 ACE inhibitiors and a water tablet first thing in the morning and 1 ACE inhibitor in the evening. Would it matter if I took the 'first dose' (the 4 tablets) at say, lunch time or dinner time and then the 'second dose' at breakfast or lunch? As long as I take the tablets every 24 hours, does it really matter when they are taken? Any opinions would be appreciated but obviously I'm going to see my doctor and explain whats going on and ask his opinion too.

I think what you need to do is do something so she realizes she can't live without you. Can you use a PVC compression tee on a steel pipe?

I am installing an irrigation system in my front yard and dug out the main water line past the water meter. The pipe is gray metal which I believe to be galvanized steel. I was going to cut the pipe and put a PVC compression tee on it to run to the irrigation shutoff valve and zone valves etc. However, I read somewhere that you shouldn't use a PVC compression tee on a steel pipe. Is this true or is it alright to do this? The line is in good shape with no apparent corrosion.

I have the same problem. One thing that helps a lot is to ALWAYS wear gloves when you go outside. The cold weather is part of the reason that your hands are becoming so dry, and using gloves to keep them warm will help prevent that. Also, another thing that always helps me, is to coat your hands with Vaseline and then cover them with your night gloves before going to bed.

Well it all started several months ago when this girl became touchy with me and somewhat flirtatious. I did not read much into it because I figured it was probably her personality. She welcomed the idea like no other, she asked me to hang out with her, and go swimming with her (to see her body), to go on vacation with me, but I suppose she did not reveal any interest in me. So I foolishly took this as if she liked me however, because I figured she would have been much less optimistic about me hanging out with her and such, but I guess I was wrong. I had an interview today. It didn't really go that well, so when I get the bad news I won't be too disappointed but I wanted to run this buy you guys to see if you agree with me. While in the interview the lady interviewing me was eating ice out of a cup. Which I think is kind of inappropriate, but honestly I don't think I would've minded at all if she hadn't been using her hands to pick up the ice (she also used one of those little mixing straws once or twice)... For most of the interview she was also leaning waaaay back in her chair and for a few minutes she also shifted to sit sideways. WTF, right? Have you ever talked to someone like that? It's very distracting. She also hardly took any notes and it really didn't seem like she had any questions prepared, because she asked me a bunch of oddball questions. I don't know about you guys, but this really threw me off my game and I think played a major role in it not going so well. Why the heck did they have me come in at all if that's the way that it was going to go down? This was rude of the interviewer, right? Post shoulder surgery issues! HELP!?

I had shoulder stabilization surgery on March 5th, 2010. I had physical therapy for about 3 months after that. I started swimming competitively on my varsity high school team about 5 and a half months after getting surgery that required 4 sutures in the front of my shoulder to stop my shoulder from slipping out of the ...socker (it fe...ll out RIGHTwhen I went under) BIG MISTAKE! Throughour the season I had pain all the time. The season ended mid November and I haven't swam competitively since. I went to the doctore in February and I have biceps tendonitis and got a cortisone injection into the tendon. I have been getting physical therapy since the second week in March and it sucks! I have a pinched nerve in the back of my neck now that hurts and theres pain radiating down to my lower shoulder blade and my fingers feel weird. Have any of you guys gone through this?! How'd you deal with it???

Ginger Tomcat problem!!!!?

I have two 7 year old female cats, they have both been spayed. Recently a ginger tomcat has made its way into the garden, and will moan outside my bedroom window all night long, it's keeping me awake at night for hours, so much so that I am spending the night with friends tonight in another town, just to get some peace. He has been inside my bedroom, on one night when it was warm and I left the window open, ever since then he has been back every night. I don't know what to do to deter him, he's driving me crazy. 14 year old boy being abused please help!?

Okay, I am 14 years old and there is a boy in my cl, his family is less fortunate and don't exactly have the health care of most people. He is different in many ways than the other boy's in my grade. He is always talking about killing people, animals, even himself. the detail he goes into about these things is very frightening. I met a 28 year old on my college campus. As a freshman and going to college it seems as though everybody is around 18-20 years old. Well apparently not after meeting several people. Hi, I am a fourteen year old girl living in Oregon, and a few months ago my parents told me that they were getting a divorce. My mother is emotionally abusive and unstable and constantly cries whenever I tell her that I do not wish to spend my time with her. She has, in the past, been in a physically abusive relationship, where she gave birth to two sons, my half-brothers. Then, she met my father, who is sweet, caring, kind, and is a member of a charity that ists victims of domestic violence. A few years later, they had me and my younger sister who is nine. My mother has always favored my younger sister because she is very impressionable and does whatever my mother says. My mother only eats one meal a day, if that. She is anorexic and is constantly putting herself down about her weight, which sets an unhealthy example for myself and my younger sister. She makes herself seem like the victim who can do no wrong in every situation. She is always right in her eyes. I am seeking legal advice because I do not wish to live with her any further. I have expressed this to my father, who has discussed it with his lawyer. My father is very vague regarding the divorce, and when he spoke to his attorney, he said something along the lines of 'the judge will decide what is best.' This upset me a little, and so did my father's statement where he said "I think it's healthy for a child to have both parents in their life". I confronted him (my brother's advice) about this, and asked him if he even wanted me to live with him at all, because it really didn't sound like it. He told me that of course he wanted me to live with him, and that he wished he could have me and my sister live with him all the time, but it was ultimately the judge's decision what is best for the child. My father is being unhelpful, and my mother has not found out yet about me not wanting to live with her. I really need someone's help. We have a fairly new water softener due to having well water and also have a Culligan whole house water filtration unit. I severely pick my nose?

Ok, ever since I was 5 I've been an avid nose picker...it's just normal to me. I can't stand feeling boogers in my nose and a lot of the times I catch myself picking when I'm nervous, upset, whatever. But in the past few years it's gotten to where I pick my nose, and if there's not boogers in it, I pick the skin. I don't know if this is damaging it badly? This is obsessive, it's more than a "just carry around a tissue and et used to not picking it" thing. How do I stop this? And is the skin picking really damaging my nose?
